Elysium Gallery is an artist,
volunteer run space that is committed to exhibiting and promoting the work
of emerging Wales based and Wales educated artists (of all media’s)
whilst continuing to make links with the national arts scene.
As a gallery we strive to provide support for new artists and art organisations
as well as encouraging pride and participation in local visual and performing
arts in an environment that promotes experimentation, freedom and appreciation
in all creative practices.
This helps to regenerate and create interest in the large gap between emerging
and established artists, whilst continuing to strengthen and promote the Swansea
arts scene.

The Swansea Guild of Artists - Exposure Gallery Elysium Gallery
The Swansea Guild of Artists is an artist led volunteer organisation that has been committed to exhibiting and promoting the work of emerging Wales based and/or educated artists whilst continuing to make links with the national arts scene for seven years.
During the seven
years a number of temporary galleries have been created by the Guild, including
The Lounge and The Arts Kitchen.
In 2003, the Guild identified the need for a more permanent arts space within
Swansea, which would follow the same ideologies as the temporary spaces. As
a result of this Exposure Gallery was born. (July 2003 - March 2007).www.exposureart.co.uk
As well as continuing the long-term concern of providing opportunities to younger, less established artists, Exposure developed its own, underpinning objectives. As a gallery, Exposure always strived to provide support for artists, through the creation of networking opportunities and a sense of mutual interest, this helped to reduce the gap between the public, the local authorities, established and less established artists within the Swansea area.
Elysium Artspace is the natural evolution from Exposure Gallery.
