AJ Stockwell

Borrowing languages and processes from other disciplines Stockwell’s work often takes multiple forms. Working in sculpture, video, photography and performance these forms constitute a shared dialogue that considers our relationship to/with artifacts and their modes of construction. Primarily research based the artist works across mediums to approach certain cultural histories and material pedagogues.

​Her recent work has focused on the language of ceramics​ ​and ​ the appropriation and re-presentation of ceramic artifacts.

AJ Stockwell will be in residence at the elysiumgallery High Street Studios from October through to the end of January 2016. She will present the outcomes of her residency at elysiumgallery 16 College street on Friday 25th March 2016
