Christina Rowlands

Christina Rowlands

Christina’s work in the past has utilized ceramics as a medium to explore inner tensions in relation to animal welfare. From this she has moved onto using plaster and other materials  – whatever seems most appropriate, – to illustrate the dynamics of function and dysfunction.  She attempts to use visual metaphors to examine the contrast between acceptable and unacceptable social behaviours and the inner tensions this creates.

Christina completed a BA in Fine Art at Swansea Metropolitan University, in 2011. She is currently on her final year of the Contemporary Dialogues Masters programme at the University of Wales, Trinity St. David.
