Kelly Payne: Artist in residence talk

During her time as an artist in residence at the elysiumgallery High Street studios, Kelly has been exploring cartography as an art form. The artist has investigated local mythology in regards to creating a pathway across Swansea and examined how we experience a new place focusing on the human senses.
Kelly will present her research and findings on the usage of map making in her art and pathways, traces or marks left behind in the landscape as artwork.
Accompanying the talk will be a display of Kelly’s findings and work produced during her residency.
