I mainly work in photographic practices, but also dabble in the occult. Whoops, sorry, meant graphic design, illustration and sound design. My photographic practice could at times not be defined as such, as I often work directly with the material and not with lenses or light. By creating abstract “photographs”, I aim to explore scientific theories and their relation to the arts, where scientific sensibilities are challenged. By working with the ideas of reality, I play around with what can be considered fact and what is fiction, where in the self is, in the end, the only true aspect.
Currently I am studying Photography in the Arts at the old Swansea Met, but I come from Norway and I have training in classic studio and news photography from back then, giving me a specific outlook on photography as a medium. As part of Tecla, together with Callum Latham and Rachel Alderman, I have been part of developing a piece that coincided with Arts Birthday, celebrating the artists that have inspired us.
