Are you working in the creative industries? We can offer a professional space within an established & vibrant creative environment.

The proposed new spaces on Swansea High Street will provide a place for creative individuals & businesses to work, meet, collaborate and feed into an already vibrant support network of artists within the elysium gallery studios community.

Working in close collaboration with local universities, arts organisations and businesses, elysium gallery wants to provide work spaces tailor-made to meet the needs of practitioners who work in crafts, photography, film, illustration, 2-D & 3-D.

The new studios will occupy a 11,000 sq feet space and will range from 8 hot desk spaces, 21 large private lockable spaces. A kitchen area with storage for all tenants, plus a large meeting room.

Prices will range from £120 – 190p/m, desk spaces will come in around £40 p/m. All bills and internet included within the rent.

The building of the studios will commence very soon and will be flexible to peoples needs.

Swansea is already establishing itself as a vibrant centre for contemporary culture and elysium gallery wants to ensure its artists have spaces to work, exhibit and survive in a sustainable creative community.

elysiumgallery is an artist led, not for profit, social enterprise comprising of 60+ studio spaces and a contemporary art gallery over 3 venues in Swansea City Centre, Wales, United Kingdom. We support 13 artists’ studios and a gallery space at 16 College Street, Swansea and a further 13 studios at 2 Mansel Street, Swansea. elysiumgallery also runs 35 studio spaces, a gallery/test bed space, communal library & research areas and artist residency programmes on the upper floor of the Old Iceland building on Swansea High Street. We also run various offsite exhibitions and events both locally, nationally and internationally.

elysiumgallery seeks to foster a collaborative and participatory experience creating a vibrant and creative community in Swansea. We aim to create the framework for a world of ideas and inspiration which will feed into the regeneration of Swansea City centre.
