Cardiff based Pape Jupe’s TC drench sleazy surf rock in post-punk cynicism, sprinkled with gospel and disco and topped with sharp-witted lyricism. The band’s dark-humoured and surreal storytelling delves introspectively while lampooning masculinity, politics, and power. The group look to increase momentum on their sellout hometown shows in 2023, as they arrive in 2024.
