Manfinger is a narrative-free documentary film that looks at the theme of
internal tensions between commercial success and rebellious expression in
the music industry.
Manfinger is filmed on location in Swansea using several different sources
from the South Wales rock scene of the 1970s: band fanzines, TV
documentaries, interviews and stories from the public. Maria Pask is a
Welsh artist based in Amsterdam.
A Glynn Vivian Offsite exhibition, supported by a grant from the Mondriaan Foundation in
collaboration with Black Kettle Collective, Gorseinon Day Service group and students from
the RoyalArtSchool in Den Haag, The Netherlands.

yn y diwydiant cerddoriaeth.
Ffilmiwyd Manfinger mewn lleoliadau gwahanol yn Abertawe trwy
defnyddio gwahanol ffynonellau o sin roc de Cymru yn y 1970au:
cylchgronau i gefnogwyr y band, rhaglenni dogfen ar y teledu,
cyfweliadau a straeon gan y cyhoedd. Artist Cymraeg yw Maria Pask
wedi’i lleoli yn Amsterdam.
