“Terror is when you come home and notice everything you own had been taken away and replaced by an exact substitute.”- Stephan King

My work engages directly with the increasing tension that exists between the familiar and the unfamiliar. For some, our surroundings remain constant, forcing us to pursue alternative forms of interaction in an evolving set of relationships. For others, it is the environment itself that fluctuates, and we seek solace via the familiarity of routine and palpable connections. The notions of the Uncanny, the domestic landscape and memory are at the apex of my current research. Working with space and place I cross-pollinate the boundaries of the familiar and unfamiliar, via the documentation of mental illness.
