Zoe Gingell is director at Cardiff MADE which has been instrumental is propelling the careers of many Welsh and Wales-based early career artists.
‘I’m an artist and curator with a practice which spans across painting, theatre, installation, photography, sound, sculpture and film-making. Since setting up Twosome Films (2001-2009)with my identical twin Christabel directing and producing several short films, I’ve returned to my art practice; focused largely on the domestic sphere and Motherhood as a subject matter. Work has developed in collaboration with my partner Josh Leeson, my children, and significantly with artist Eve Dent, with whom I formed the Mothersuckers Project in 2009 ‘.
