Cafe/Bar and function room hire
Elysium Gallery offers a versatile venue for hire in the heart of Swansea city centre, ideal for a wide range of functions and events with capacity for over 100 people. The space includes a modern, spacious café/bar and an adjoining function room, providing a flexible setting that can be adapted to suit your needs.
With full disabled access throughout, the venue is well-suited for corporate events, meetings, workshops, classes, group gatherings, and private celebrations. Whether you’re planning a small meeting or a larger event, the layout can be tailored to create the right atmosphere.
Our on-site café offers tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol and cakes (available to pre-book and order in advance for your event), and while you’re welcome to organise your own catering, all drinks must be purchased through Elysium.

Creative workshop space for hire
The Elysium Gallery creative workshop space is ideal for self-led workshops, classes, and meetings. Bright and comfortable, the room benefits from large windows that provide plenty of natural light, complemented by overhead LED lighting.
The space is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and heating, along with tables and chairs suitable for both children and adults. It also includes a sink and a small library of art books, with additional art equipment available on request.
Conveniently located next to the Elysium café and gallery, the space has access to accessible toilets and visitor facilities.
Hire rates:
£25 per hour for one-off bookings
£15 per hour for regular block bookings
We can also provide workshop teachers to lead on activities.

College Street Gallery
Elysium Gallery has studios at 16 College Street, Swansea but is also available to hire outside of its visual arts programme for exhibitions.

Hire Rates: Exhibitions – basic building rate – £100 per week (no marketing, no invigilation, no opening night) Discounts are available for multiple weeks.
Renters will also need the following:
- Public liability insurance
- Insurance for work created
- Risk assessment for activity/exhibition
For exhibitions:
- Opening night dates and plan
- Pre-agreed invigilation timetable for opening of the show
