In recognition of Transgender Day of Rememberance join activist Sky Harrison and author Tomáš Tengely-Evans for the Swansea launch of a new pamplet looking at trans and non-binary liberation
The Tories are ramping up their war on trans and non-binary people. It’s not just in Britain with the blocking of Scottish GRA reforms. Whether it’s Italy or Hungary far-right governments are attacking trans people.
But there is resistance. The protests over the Scottish reforms in January 2023 included many calling for radical and systematic change. And in February 2023 thousands more people joined vigils in towns and cities across Britain after the murder of transgender teenager, Brianna Ghey.
Anticapitalism is no longer on the margins of LGBT+politics. The movement has thrown up huge questions, ranging from the roots of trans and non-binary oppression to identity’s politics and allyship and strategies to win liberation.
Join us to discuss a revolutionary socialist vision for winning a world free of exploitation and oppression.
