Cara Hammond’s debut UK tour, with support from Rebecca Hurn.
Cara Hammond is an indie singer-songwriter from Wrexham, North Wales, influenced by female artists such as Lianne La Havas and Lana Del Rey. Cara’s music can be described as an eclectic mix of indie pop, neo soul and folk which blend together through Cara’s honest lyrics and warm vocal tones.
Cara began writing songs when she was 11, going on to self-release 3 EP’s independently and a series of singles through the indie label, Oswaldo. Cara’s music has been featured on 7 Spotify New Music Friday’s across Asia, been A listed on national BBC Radio and featured in the BBC Introducing’s Hotlist. During the pandemic Cara learnt how to produce, leading to her first self produced EP ‘twenty four hours’. The leading track ‘Losing Balance’ has since surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify, and has been performed live on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Scotland.
From supporting Charlotte Church at 15, Cara has performed at iconic venues and festivals both nationwide and internationally. In 2022 Cara played at The Roundhouse and Ronnie Scotts in London, as well as festivals SXSW, The Great Escape, Focus Wales and Boomtown Festival, Cara also took part in Global Music Match, a collaborative programme for 60 artists from all
across the World.

Rebecca is a global award winning singer-songwriter from South Wales. Winner of ‘Best Song’ at the Cardiff Music Awards for globally acclaimed debut single ‘Waves’ and most recently awarded ‘Best Songwriter’ at the UK Songwriters Competition with newest single ‘Panic’, which was most recently a featured track on national radio, BBC Radio 6.
Rebecca was the only unsigned artist to headline The Isle Of Wight festival in 2021, sharing the same stage as household names such as Kaiser Chiefs, Ella Henderson and similar artist Maisie Peters.
Rebecca is currently funded and supported by PRS The Open Fund for her debut album due early 2023. Rebecca is also supported over seas by the New York Songwriters Circle, who awarded Rebecca with their Circle Of One fund for being their favourite performer and included her in their ‘5 of the best in the last decade’ showcase. Rebecca has played at renowned venues in New York, such as ‘Pianos’ and ‘The Bitter End’, home to Lady Gaga’s early success.
Awarded ‘Best Songwriter’ in New York City’s Independent Music Awards in 2019. Rebecca is only one of three UK artists to receive this award in the events 20 year history. The others being Passenger with ‘Let Her Go’ in 2013 and Sam Sallon in 2014.
Rebecca is currently 1 of 3 artists representing Wales in the Global Music Match 2022, selected by Focus Wales. Rebecca’s most recent Cardiff headline show at Tiny Rebel was a sell out. Rebeccas success in Wales is portrayed in her frequent radio plays across BBC Radio Wales as being part of the BBC A-List Playlist, where she was described as ‘a national treasure’.
Rebecca has performed at some stand out festivals multiple times such as ‘The Hay Festival’, ‘How The Light Gets In’, ’Focus Wales’ and ‘The Green Gathering’. Rebecca was also a chosen act to perform at the first ‘In It Together Festival’.
Rebecca holds a strong amount of streams and followers for an unsigned artist. Gaining over 30k streams on multiple songs such as ‘Panic’ (almost 40k streams) and ‘Something About Christmas’. Rebecca is a featured artist on the compilation album ‘Indie Christmas 2021’ which has 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube and Spotify.
