“It’s chilled out bedroom-pop at its finest” – Clunk Magazine

‘Pairing the dreamiest of summer soundscapes, with husky vocal musings. His canvas of creativity crafting music that will surely delight any listener. With a deep and unique approach to indie-pop, composed from the world around him.’ – Becky and the Bands

Hailing from the vibrant streets of Swansea, South Wales, Mojo JNR (aka Josh David-Read) crafts a sound that’s both intimately personal and effortlessly inviting. Drawing inspiration from the world around him, he blends dreamy summer soundscapes with husky vocal musings, creating a unique brand of indie-pop that resonates with listeners.

Mojo JNR’s music transcends the confines of a single genre. He seamlessly blends elements of folk, bedroom pop and Indie Rock, resulting in a sound that’s both introspective and undeniably catchy. Described by critics as “perfect holiday vibes” and “indie bedroom pop at its finest,” his music offers a sonic escape, transporting listeners to sun-drenched days and contemplative nights. Peach Out has placed on Spotify Editorial “Peach” and Miles Away on Sailing La Vagabonde YouTube channel.

Beyond the studio, Mojo JNR thrives in the live arena. His solo performances capture the essence of his music, while his five-piece band delivers a dynamic and electrifying experience. Their electrifying stage presence has seen him receive support from established names like The Bug Club, Melin Melyn and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, showcasing his potential to captivate audiences on a wider scale.

Whether enjoyed in solitude or shared with friends, Mojo JNR’s music offers a sonic sanctuary. His ability to weave relatable stories into dreamlike soundscapes positions him as a rising star in the South Wales music scene, poised to make waves beyond his hometown.

On March 29th Mojo JNR released Keep it Simple, a catchy and relatable song that encourages listeners to embrace a more straightforward approach to life, relationships, or even music itself.

Marionette

Hailing from the heart of South Wales, Marionette is an indie alternative rock band that weaves together the sharp, melodic sensibilities of The Strokes, the eclectic flair of Mini Mansions, and the Britpop cool of Blur.

Feverjaw

Feverjaw is an Alternative Rock three piece based in Aberdare/Cardiff, South Wales. Firm favourites on the South Wales scene and beyond.
