Swansea formed alternative rock band AKIMBO have been bringing their rustic charm to local audiences for the last six months. Introducing slick guitar riffs, punchy drum beats and deeply carved lyrics, AKIMBO are experimenting an unconventional yet familiar style of music. Similarities may put them in the same bracket as Queens of the Stone Age or Kings of Leon with a tranquil yet persuasive approach to their tracks. With a vibrant tone and wicked personality, AKIMBO looks set to penetrate the front doors of original Welsh music for all to hear.
