We are very excited to welcome you all to a one-off party, hosted by Elysium, to celebrate one of Swansea’s most famous gay venues, Champers Wine Bar. This will be on Friday 16 September.
Many of you will remember Champers, which for much of its history was open when Section 28 was still in force. People remember Champers as a friendly and welcoming space, where people didn’t have to pretend to be anything but who they authentically were. We are excited to be hosting this reunion party for everyone to enjoy.
£5 entry all night (but no-one will be turned away for lack of funds). If you’d like to come but are worried about affordability, please do drop us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets available on the door or in advance through Eventbrite.
**WHO WE ARE**
PYNK is a queer dance party for every body. We want to create a safe space for friendly humans of every persuasion to get together and have a boogie.
The main dancefloor and bar is on the ground floor of elysium bar & gallery. There is flat access through the front entrance and the bar is fully wheelchair accessible.
There are all-gender toilet facilities on the ground and first floors.
At PYNK we have zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, fatphobia or any other behaviour that makes any of our community feel at all unsafe. If you have any concerns about this on the night, please find one of us (we will be wearing pink hats) so we can address them immediately.
