Head to Elysium Bar on October 5th for an afternoon of some truly stunning singer-songwriter’s set to enthrall and entertain in one of Swansea’s newest cultural spaces. Tasty refreshments, cosy surroundings and perfectly-crafted music makes for a perfect Fringe afternoon for all you music lovers out there.

From midday, expect music from Danielle Lewis, Sarah Birch, Frankie Wesson Music, Eleri Angharad, AidenKeryn, Orphan dinosaur and Daisy-Birch Jones.

|| Danielle Lewis ||

Newquay’s own Danielle Lewis’ music is expressive, emotive of the Welsh coast, with a grace throughout tempered by a an appreciation of all things musical, embracing new ways of crafting songs throughout her works that results in ever-exciting, soulful and pure Alt-Folk and Pop and with rave testimonials from the some of the UK’s leading musical voices, as well as performing thoroughly across the UK and beyond, Danielle’s music is utterly mesmerising.

|| Sarah Birch ||

Sarah Birch might be known for co-fronting festival favourites Lost Tuesday Society, but her solo project allows this Swansea-based artist to really shine. Beautifully woven, gently expressive Folk that is spell-binding and emotive with a purity of form that is rarely seen.

|| Frankie Wesson Music ||

Starting at the tender age of 16, Frankie Wesson is a songwriter of true graft, already having performed at a huge number of festivals including How The Light Gets In, she crafts heartfelt songs that draw inspiration from both classic and traditional influences, including Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morisette, Tracy Chapman and Julien Baker, to create excellent, dynamic Pop Folk.

|| Eleri Angharad ||

This year’s #SwanseaFringe will see festival favourite Eleri Angharad returning to the show, adding her own, inimitable and unique brand of Country Pop to the lineup. Unapologetic, truthful and pure, Eleri’s songwriting fuses classic US Country storytelling with contemporary Pop hooks.

|| AidenKeryn ||

Aiden Keryn is a young songwriter, returning for her third year of the #SwanseaFringe, who crafts music that is joyful, fun and dynamic, with a performance that is spell-binding in it’s innocence, it’s compassion and it’s confidence.

|| Orphan dinosaur ||

Orphan Dinosaur is the alter-ego of the wonderful Tansy Rees. A true creative, Orphan Dinosaur is her musical project that is joyous, entertaining, honest and frank. At times subversive, and always disarmingly insightful, Orphan Dinosaur is a real treat to behold.

|| Daisy Birch-Jones ||

Daisy Birch-Jones is a 16-year old singer who is about to take music tech at Gower College. Writing her own original songs primarily on piano, Daisy is diversifying and beginning to turn her hand to electronica and producing. Her voice has been described as soulful, distinctive and mature. Having performed mainly in school concerts Daisy had a slot at last years #SwanseaFringe as part of the Sonic Youth stage. This is just the start of her journey.
