Karl James Mountford, is a freelance illustrator who graduated with a Masters Degree in Visual Communication from Swansea Met in 2013. Since graduating and taking becoming a full time freelance illustrator, Karl has world with various clients such as Italian magazine SPAM, Redbubble and the NHS.
He works in both traditional and digital mediums creating picture books, contemporary print and murals. Karl uses a lot of colour in his work and textures to create very ‘lived in’ illustrations and paintings.
