OPUS is a collective, involving artists, designers, theorists and art practitioners. Based in Swansea, the collective was established in 2007 with an exhibition at the Dynevor Centre. The wide variety of practice within the group forms the foundation for its core fascinations; from drawing and thinking through drawing, to ideas and aesthetics, form and function, and academic and practice-based research investigations. OPUS is characterised by being a collective which includes both contemporary artists and designers, the result of which is often work which engages with or straddles both those terms.
