elysium gallery provides studio spaces across different venues in Swansea City Centre for an eclectic range of practitioners including visual fine artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, writers and much more.
We have a range of spaces ideal for everyone from emerging artists to professionals and groups setting up new businesses within the creative sector.
The elysium gallery studios project seeks to foster a collaborative and participatory experience creating a vibrant and creative community. We aim to create the framework for a world of ideas and inspiration which will feed into the vibrant Swansea arts scene.
Collaboration is key to the elysium gallery studios project and we will always seek innovative ways to bring together all those with a desire to create and share.
In order to nurture a thriving and supportive community, we actively seek to take on artists’ who are community minded, sharing our commitment to the growth and development of a healthy and exciting Swansea arts scene. Users have to use their studios on a regular basis and willing to contribute fairly and engage with the development of their studio and the project as a whole

Mansel Street Studios – 2 Mansel Street, Swansea, SA1 5SE
Opened in January 2011, consists of 13 studios on the top two floors of a three storey building in the city centre. All studios benefit from large windows which allow good light, there is 24 hour access and broadband. There is also plenty of corridor and wall space to display works and a burgeoning rear roof garden. Rents range from £70 – £200 depending on size, all rates include utilities and internet access.
College Street Studios – 16 College Street, Swansea, SA1 5BH
Opened in July 2013 and situated in the basement of a former nightclub in the city centre. Consists of 13 studios and the elysium gallery exhibition space. 24 hour access, broadband and kitchen facilities. The studios benefit with constant access to the exhibition space and its constantly changing exhibitions programme. Studios are of various sizes and range from £70 – £100, rates include utilities and internet access.
Belle Vue Way Studios – 12-24 Belle Vue Way Studios
Opened in June 2026, the studios are centrally located in Swansea city centre. The building offers 63 studio spaces of varying sizes, spread across the top two floors and basement levels.
On the ground floor, Elysium Gallery provides a contemporary exhibition space and education room, hosting a year-round programme of exhibitions, workshops, and talks. There is also a welcoming daytime café with facilities for families with young children and disabled visitors.
Studios benefit from 24-hour access, and most feature large windows or skylights, providing excellent natural light. Monthly rents typically range from £???, depending on size, and include utilities and internet access.
