elysium Gallery invites you to the latest of its series of special online artist zoom talks.
Sculptor Laura Ford has exhibited extensively and has work represented in many public collections including TATE, V&A and National Museum Cardiff.
Born in Cardiff 1961 Laura Ford studied at Bath Academy of Art from 1978-82 and at Chelsea School of Art from 1982-83. She was included in the British Art Show 5, 2000 and represented Wales in the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005.

Laura Ford is one of the artists in the current elysium gallery exhibition ‘Household Name’.
Household Name is a dynamic and timely contemporary art exhibition featuring seven Welsh and Wales-based women artists working in paint, sculpture, film, photography, text and performance. Ranging from internationally renowned practitioners to emerging artists, and all producing bold, innovative, exciting and engaging works, Household Name features direct responses to the title from questioning the political and the scientific, through to investigations of the domestic setting via witchcraft, gender identity and climate change.
