‘Icons of Mother Earth’ via ‘Evolvicism’
The Icon Art of Dignity
Evolvicism is a New Art Movement which runs side by side with the ‘Cymru-In’ counterculture movement, which is inspired by the Sit-in of 1960, the Teach-In of 1965 and the Be-In of 1967.
The movements reach out to all non-independent & oppressed countries’ artists, to reach-back into their history in order to re-Birth and re-Claim their nation’s hidden, forgotten, & undiscovered legacy of Cultural Achievements & Heroes.
Icons of Cymru aims to inspire ‘accountable-Cultural Dignity’ to our lives & future Generations by honouring those cultural heroes & heroines to empower, enlighten, celebrate & inspire the Dignity of our Nation’s Independence.
The proposed Cymru-in movement envisions the utility of each country’s long-lost knowledge to potentially initiate a new beginning in our nation’s vocabulary and celebrate our achievements.
This exhibition celebrates Cymru’s historical Identity in ‘Love & Peace’, in a ‘Brother & Sisterhood of Unity’ in a Wider-World-Community’.
Artist bio
Neil ap Cymru is Cymru’s first Cosmopolite-Culuralist-Educator and has voluntarily offered his services to progressive, educational & cultural projects on the ‘Icons of Cymru’. He returned to ‘The Land of his Mothers & Fathers’ in 2000 in-order to inaugurate culturally enlightening and ethical projects for today’s youth and tomorrow’s children via the ‘Greats of Cymru Project’. He has called for the whole-scale implementation of Cymraes a Cymros iconography into the educational system and went on to contribute to progressive historical & identity ideas to BBC Wales, HTV, S4C and BBC Wales Radio.
He is currently writing a series of books for the young Cymros a Cymraes, highlighting the role models of each progression for the first time in Welsh History and also setting-up the ‘Cymric-In’ Movement for all creatives, designers, artist and beautiful minds in Cymru dedicated to re-birthing and discovering the visionaries of ‘World-Wide-Wales’ and who wish to further streamline their internationalist, ambassadorial and ‘Cymru-Accountability’
